WOD: Chest-Back-Legs + HIITs at American Barbell Gym

Wow! I haven’t posted my workouts here in a while. I’m pretty much active on my official Facebook page Fit Chef for Life☺️ You’ll see all my food posts, motivational quotes and workouts as well👌🏼

I will start exercising at home as well and use the workout stuff we bought early this year. Goal is to go back to 2x/week lifting (1x gym

& 1x at home), 1x/week stretching + yoga + chiro exercises and 2x/week indoor cycling on top of the dog walks we do weekly👊🏼💥😃 I’ll continue following a vegan/plant-based nutrition too☺️💚🍃🌱

Anyway, I pushed myself today and maximized my training as always👊🏼💥 

CHEST-BACK-LEGS + HIITs (Arc Trainer)

Rotator Cuffs Exercise: 2 sets of 5lb-plate x 20reps each arm * WARM UP

1) BARBELL  PRESS

2) BENT-OVER BARBELL ROWS

Bad a$$ trial run for the Nike Women Half Marathon with my cousin Marilen, sis Setts and coach Hil at the beautiful Marina – SF. Views were spectacular and the weather couldn’t be more perfect…Thank you, Lord!

The uphill runs were killer and the distance was insane for a novice runner like me. Thank God I am in good company-Veteran runners and our IronMan Finisher Coach! I love learning from people who are passionate and have lots of experience in this sport. So blessed & grateful to have these three who always encourage, inspire & motivate me to be a better athlete 🙂

First time doing “Grace and Gusto Workout” by Ellen Barrett.

It’s Pilates and Ballet Fusion workout.

It was fun yet challenging…my arms and legs were on FIYAAAAHHH!!!! 

Well, still sore from Wednesday’s high-intensity Yoga…so…haha  😀

WOD: AB Ripper X + Yoga for the Warrior at Home

Late night workout at home…

I planned to do (1st) AB Ripper X, (2nd) HIITs on the treadmill  and cool off by doing Yoga (Stretch & Relax) last.

I was only able to do two because my stupid treadmill won’t start! UGH! :/ Took me 30 minutes troubleshooting it but was unsuccessful…waaaaahhh!

Anyway, I challenged myself to do Bob Harper’s “Yoga for the Warrior” (1 hour intense yoga) instead of a 30-minute Stretch and Relax kinda yoga. It was SO hard but I did my best! So happy to know that I can balance myself even after years of skipping yoga classes/workouts. I have to really improve on my flexibility…I will focus on that every week on top of my heavy lifting at the gym. It’s also been forever since I last popped the AB Ripper X DVD…I admit, tonight, Tony Horton won over me. I had to pause several times. My legs were shaking, couldn’t lift it high nor keep it on mid-air…need to get back at this.

Overall a great workout at home! I am proud that I was able to do it late at night….wuhooo!
